WE NEED YOUR HELP
Honeywood hockey needs YOUR HELP -- The Annual "Bryan Trott
Memorial" Men's Hockey Tournament is scheduled for March 31 / April
1st. We need help to run this tournament.
This annual tournament is run in memory of a local community member / father /
hockey player / hockey coach, and has served as a fundraiser for
Honeywood Minor Hockey to support our home town hockey association for our
children and our community.
The Honeywood Minor Hockey Association executive cannot run this event on our own - we need your assistance to run this event. Help is needed to set up the evening prior, help with "behind the scenes" running of the tournament, running the clock for the games, running the bar, and clean up the following day. Any and all offers of assistance are greatly appreciated.
High school kids can get volunteer hours for set up / clean up / running the clock for the games.
Help is especially needed at the bar. We need volunteers with their " Smart Serve" course to help out Friday evening, Saturday during the day and Saturday evening -- the more who are able to help with the bar, the shorter the shift in the bar !!
Honeywood Minor Hockey has benefited from the proceeds of the "Bryan Trott Memorial" Men's Hockey Tournament since its inception, which has helped Honeywood Minor Hockey to keep down the cost of minor hockey player registration. As an association, we don't ask for parents to participate in large effort fundraising thru the hockey season, as this event serves as a significant fundraiser itself for our association.
PLEASE CONSIDER OFFERING A FEW HOURS OF YOUR TIME to make the "Bryan Trott Memorial" Men's Hockey Tournament successful another year.
