VOLUNTEER RESPECT:
-
Our coaches and volunteers hold the safety and success of our players with the utmost importance at all times. If you have feedback or concerns relating to the outcome of a game or development of your team or player, an immediate reaction is not acceptable. Do not approach your volunteer coaches, bench staff or other parents at the arena. Follow the ’24-hour rule’ to evaluate if the scenario warrants a discussion and then request a time to meet with your coach.
-
Please remember that coaching staff and all who support the functioning of minor hockey are individuals who have put their name forward to be volunteers. They volunteer and commit their time to coaching and leading your players, on top of their personal lives. Our volunteers work year-round to ensure that minor hockey is available in Honeywood, all because they love hockey and their community.
-
Honeywood Minor Hockey will not tolerate disrespect towards our volunteers.
OFF ICE CONDUCT:
-
While we strive to offer a positive and enjoyable experience for both players and spectators that are attending practice and game times, it is important to remember that children should not be running, yelling, or aggressively playing in the lobby and or dressing rooms.
-
We also want to remind everyone that players and siblings should never be left without a mature guardian.
-
Everyone that utilizes the North Dufferin Community Center should treat the building with respect. For many, this is a home away from home.
FUNDRAISING- Honeywood Minor Hockey offers a variety of fundraising initiatives throughout the season. Fundraising allows our association to provide affordable programming to our players. We value and prioritize the importance of fundraising as a community and benefiting as a community.
SOCKS - Please note: Honeywood Socks will only be available to purchase at the time of registration. Honeywood Socks are to be worn during all games.
